The unity of the Godhead and the divine co-equality of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; the sovereignty of God in creation, providence and redemption. Matthew 3:15-17, John 10:30 and 14:26 and 2 Corinthians 13:14.
The personality of the Devil who actively opposes the work of God. Isaiah 14:12-15 and John 8:44.
The total depravity of human nature in consequence of the fall, and the necessity for regeneration. Ephesians 2:1-5 and Romans 5:12.
The true and proper deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; His virgin birth; His real and perfect manhood; the authority of His teaching, and the infallibility of all His utterances; His work of atonement for sinners of mankind by His substitutionary sufferings and death; His bodily resurrection and ascension into Heaven; and His present priestly intercession for His people at the right hand of the Father. Luke 1:26-35, Matthew 16:16, Hebrews 7:26, 2 Corinthians 5:15, 1 Peter 1:19 and Romans 8:34.
The justification of the sinner solely by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, our Saviour. Romans 3:23-24, and 5:1 and Ephesians 2:8-9.
The work of the Holy Spirit as essential for a true and spiritual understanding of the Scriptures; for regeneration, conversion and sanctification, and for ministry and worship. John 3:3 and 8 and Romans 8:9-11.
That all those who are spiritually united to Christ through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit are eternally secure in Him. John 10:28 and Romans 8:1.
The true church existing worldwide being a spiritual body of which Christ is the head, comprising all those redeemed by the blood of Christ, called by God through the Gospel, born of the Spirit and justified by faith; the local church being a visible expression of the church worldwide in a particular locality. 1 Corinthians 5:4, Ephesians 4:4-6 and Hebrews 10:24-25.
The responsibility of believers to live holy lives in true regard of their relationship to the Lord and the church. 1 Corinthians 6:8-20, Colossians 3:12-17 then Hebrews 10:24-25.
