In this section we have a number of video talks. These vary in length, some being about 10-15 minutes long and others being considerably shorter. They are placed on different Facebook pages each Sunday as an evangelistic outreach to both the local Community as well as those farther afield. They differ from the usual teaching of the Sunday sermons as the point of them is to act as an introduction to various passages and books of the Bible. But the ultimate point of them is to be evangelistic in nature and act as an introduction to the teaching of Jesus Christ and explain how he is found in all the scriptures (John 5:39 and 46). Therefore, please feel free to share them with friends and family if you feel that is appropriate, as the aim is to get the good news of the Gospel out to as many people as possible.
So far we have completed a series on the book of Job, with its focus on suffering and the sovereignty of God and how it relates to the work of Christ. We have also done a series on the book of Ecclesiastes where King Solomon takes a long hard look at life’s big questions. Here again we consider how they are answered in the work of Jesus Christ. We have also done a series of shorter talks (5-8 minutes) that has taken us all the way through Mark’s Gospel. We have done some similar length talks on various Psalms, the Ten Commandments and Bible Blessings. Currently we are working our way through Luke’s Gospel with a new talk each Sunday.
Do feel free to take a look (see links below).
